Mornings are NOT my time of day, to say the least. It took me 2.5 hrs to get going this morning. I finally left at 8 am. I started with very light winds, they built but not to a very bad situation, mostly below 10 MPH. I was very lucky that they were out of the SSW and helped push me along, that along with the tide I was able to make my destination in 5.5 hrs. Along the way it was very nice, I saw 3 or 4 dolphins playing, a turtle and a rosy spoonbill. It was a beautiful day.
I also got to connect with some family. They live in Vero Beach and came up to Sebastian and took me out to dinner. Thank you Richard and Maryann Feely for a great afternoon. Great catching up with you all.

It was nice to see them and talk, and not just about this trip.
