NOTE: If you want to see an enlarged picture – Right click the picture and open it in a new tab. It will open in a new tab almost full screen sized.

Feb 16th I took off to plan ahead – bad weather coming. 4 Days of winds over 15 Mph then 3 that would be okay, but then back to strong winds. So I am calling it at 139 miles, and that is that no more major ICW trips. Time to travel with Peg.

Day 18 Feb 15th 2024

Off I go
Boars on shore
Lunch stop
Water is big here but shallow
Into the Marina – where there is a local Inn – sitting out on coming weather.
Docked and drying

Happy Valentines day

Adios Mark and Betty thanks for the evening.
And I’m off
The wind kicks up – out of the north – so it blows right down the channel
When it is windy the hat brim blocks the camera – 93 identical images – 1 shot per minute
After a needed rest – Back on the water
Another needed stop. Nice park with kayak launch
Still windy
Home for the night – Lots of wildlife signs – Raccoon and Boar

Day 16 Feb 13th 2024

    • Thanks for following Ruth. As far as downtime activities it depends on where I am. When away from formal camps (state parks…) I am bored. not much to do, so I have to pass the time trying to make myself busy. At camps I try to meet people and make new aquaintences. I am not a big reader so no books besides keeping it dry is difficult. Glad you enjoyed the pics
