Rest day #2
Today was a banner day. Started with hash and eggs for breakfast and then off to meet a new friend. Luke had left a message on my kayak about meeting, however I missed him last night and so we connected this morning. He was wondering if I would be around long as he has a…

The first rest day
Today is a beautiful day. Walked to Publix and got some groceries and more Naproxen Sodium for my wrist, it feels better but still hurts when carrying or putting much weight on it. It is still swollen, red and hard to the touch. So I am extending my rest through tomorrow. Hopefully that will allow me to be okay…

Gear and packing the cockpit.

Obviously this is where I am going to be packed in as well as any gear that doesn’t find its way into the other compartments. The more I put here the less space I have to be comfortable. Getting in and out of the kayak is an art and is when you are most likely…
