At this point day 7 and 8 are zero days (no travel by kayak). Winds are expected to be 20+ mph and the openness of the area I have to cross is going to prevent me from moving. On the up side I broke 100 miles yesterday (100.5 to be exact), so there is that to be thankful for. I need at least 1 day off to recoup, so this is God telling me it is time – take a break. I am in Stuart Fl just south of Jensen Beach. I walked into the closest food place (bakery) for a good cup of coffee and something sweet. Across the street from there I found a Lutheran church to worship at tomorrow at 11, so I’ll be walking there as well. Hopefully without any rain.
