Today is a beautiful day. Walked to Publix and got some groceries and more Naproxen Sodium for my wrist, it feels better but still hurts when carrying or putting much weight on it. It is still swollen, red and hard to the touch. So I am extending my rest through tomorrow. Hopefully that will allow me to be okay since I have 18 miles to my next known destination.
I wasn’t thinking this morning and let myself get distracted. I left the cleaning water on the stove and walked away. When I came back of course the water boiled over but the stove doesn’t automatically turn off, so I used a bottle of fuel. Oh well I guess I need to be a bit more focused. I did get to take a shower (and boy did that feel good), do laundry (the shirt was almost standing on its own) and just relax. So there is that good. My dry areas in the Kayak have been taking on some water, more so when it is rough out. I have some sealant with me and I hope I have stemmed that issue. Everything is in dry bags but there is no sense in tempting fate.
I have also gotten the chance to start posting pictures so take a look. Best to all and thanks for following along.

maybe a wrist brace for some support?

I believe it isn’t muscular. I think something (blood vessel) might have popped. Hence the tight and redness. The Naproxen is doing the best thus far. I will be looking for chemical ice packs if thing don’t change by morning.
