Prior to our Taxi ride Peg had booked us on a tour of the Dublin outskirts. We went to … you guessed it, gardens and to some unique places outside of Dublin. We saw horses, cows, sheep, heather, heath, boggs and some very nice little towns. It was a very enjoyable day exploring. We had a small shower, and occasionally it was quite misty. But otherwise the day was gorgeous.

Now imagine that all that brown was the color of the Heather, we were at the tail end of it’s bloom. That must have been something with it all in bloom.

It was a great day of exploring. It was difficult to get photos from the bus as it was moving to fast and my access to a window was limited. The sights along the way were grand and beautiful. We had a great time and Peg loved the gardens, the heather fields and the day in general. Hope you had a great day too, God bless
